The Glueless Scr4pbook.

I have asked for a LUSH voucher for Christmas and I am hoping I get one because I have already planned my Boxing Day sales run (which literally just includes LUSH, Boots and Cath Kidston, well and possibly Zara for the bags :)) I'm hoping to grab some Snow Fairy on sale so I can stock up, and then there are a few bits I still haven't tried yet like the 'Fun' that I put on my wanted list and their new Rosé Jam shower gel which is really expensive but I think I'll take the plunge. Excited.

So anyway enough blabbering, the point of the post is to show you what I picked up yesterday in LUSH. I did go in on purpose, it was on my list and it wasn't just impulse buying, so I had two main things on my list 'Snow Fairy' and the 'Tea Tree Water' spray, I decided to get the huge Snow Fairy, it's my first time buying it so I was going to be reasonable and pick the 250g bottle but the bigger one was such better value, and it was the last one left so I took it as a sign (Snow Fairy 500g £10.95, www.lush.co.uk). The Tea Tree Water was another thing I had never tried, but my skin has been really bad lately and after reading the reviews I knew I would like this product so I definitely wanted the biggest bottle (Tea Tree Water 250g £7.50, www.lush.co.uk). As I was heading to the till there was a slight wait so I ended up picking up a Bubble Bar (hold it or sprinkle it under a running tap and it acts like bubble bath) from near the cash desk, in Snow Mountain, I have tried to take a nice close up so that you can see the sparkle (Snow Mountain Bubble Bar £2.65, www.lush.co.uk).

I used all three of these things last night and can't wait to use them again, the Snow Fairy smells so good and the scent stays on your body even when you've dried off which I love, I also love that you don't need to use a lot to get a lather, at least it will last a while because it is quite expensive for a shower gel.

As for the Tea Tree Water, I think I am in love, I have used it like 3 times already and I only bought it yesterday afternoon, I used it after my bath, after cleansing my face, I used it again before bed and left it on to soak in and I have used it this morning as soon as I woke up. The lady in the shop said you cannot over load because its such a soft formula, and I am so happy because I know I'm going to be using it A LOT, it's so refreshing, make your skin feel young and dewy, it has a slight tea tree smells but only faint so it's not overpowering, I just love it and hope it starts to help with my skin blemishes.

I have also been reading about this product lately so I thought I'd add it in, it's supposed to be the greatest lip balm formula ever created, my mum had asked for the new Banana version for Christmas so whilst shopping for that I persuaded myself to get one too, I got the original Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi Purpose Balm (£10.99, www.boots.com) it's kind of like the Elizabeth Arden 8hour Cream in that its supposed to be good for everything, I mainly bought it for my lips though and to be honest it's a very small tube and probably wouldn't last 5 minutes if it were being used for everything, saying that however it is a very thick gel type consistency and you really do not use a lot, it is clear and completely scent free, I had read one lady saying that its best a night to leave it on and feel how soft your lips are in the morning, so I did that last night and I can truthfully say my lips really do feel smooth and moisturised. So far so good, maybe I will do a review in a few weeks to share exactly how good/bad it is.

I have previously mentioned that did goodie bags for my family last year, and I am doing the same this year, well today I got all the sweeties, chocolates and lots of other yummy stuff to go inside them. I'm really excited because I think everybody is going to love what they have got :)

My friend recently showed me the cutest sweet shop I have ever seen, a place called Hardys in Windsor train station, it's a vintage style sweet shop with every sweet you can imagine, all the limited edition ones from America and oldskool ones that are no longer widely available, not to mention billions of pots of sweets behind the counter to create your own pick'n'mix. It's so lovely in there and the staff were so helpful too, so I got a good portion of the sweets in there, and the rest in Tescos.

I work in Windsor, England, and so that's where I found these goodies, it was so foggy today all day it made everything look like a scene from 'The Woman in Black', pretty cool, nice winters, Christmassy mood in town so it was nice to shop there.

I'll go through the bits for me first... So I was in need of cotton buds so I nipped into boots I noticed that the baby versions of buds, cotton pads and cotton balls are all cheaper than the normal versions at the front of the store, for the exact same quantity so I obviously chose those :) and ended up gettin both for like £1.60 or something. Very happy. (Www.boots.com)

I was also hunting down the Olbas Oil for kids because I do have the normal adult version but I'm not sure where it is and thought I'd try the kids one to see if it was less strong (it isn't by the way well ,it doesn't seem it anyway) but I'm happy I have my Olbas back. (£3.99 www.boots.com)

I picked up a few cosmetic bits too, I finally got the Collection 2000 Lasting Finish Concealer that I have heard so much about, I haven't tried it properly yet but I think I'm going to do a concealer review soon anyway so I will put the results up there (£4.99 www.boots.com), I got yet another Barry M nail polish, one from the Gelly range this time in a bubblegum pink called 'Dragonfruit' also from boots, and lastly I treated my lips to a Bodyshop fix and purchased one of their lip butters in 'Pink Grapefruit' it's yummy (rrp £4 I got mine on 50% with a voucher code. Www.bodyshop.co.uk)

Oh and, a bit random I know but I am so into home wear and anything cute and random and pink... I found this bowl in Waitrose the other day for just £3 how good is that? So I had to have it since I have vowed to start taking cereal to work, I thought It can be my motivation.

Presents wise I managed to get some sweeties for my Christmas goody bags, I found them in The Works most randomly, so I was really pleased with that I got the "Butterfinger" for my dad and the "lucky charms" bar for my brother. While I was in there I got some other really cute presents, I was especially taken by the little floral storage pots (£1.99) so I had to get one for me AND my mum, same with the re-useable pink floral shopper bag (£1.99), one for me, one for mum, and I got my dad this really cool DIY book with lots of good ideas in... A totally typical dad present but I know he'll really enjoy it so it made me happy to buy it. Last but not least I got a Crossword notebook for my gran because she just loves doing crosswords.

Now that everything's together on one page my obsession with pink seems quite clear, literally everything is pink. Ahhh. I don't care pink is my absolute favourite colour, namely Nude to be specific but anything remotely pink and I'm happy.

So, what I hope to buy first, Lanolips 101 Ointment  (£10.99 www.boots.com), Lush Fun in Pink (£5 www.lush.com), Lush Marshmallow melt (£3.95 www.lush.com) Ikea White Candle Tray (£1.99 www.ikea.com) and a Topshop Baby Pink Cable Knitted Jumper (£46 www.topshop.com).

What I have put on my Christmas list, Baby Pink Vans with leather laces (rrp £54.99, spotted on www.ebay.com for £34.99), and a LUSH voucher because there are a few more pricey products that I really want to get like the new Rose Jam Shower Gel (£15.95 www.lush.com) which smells just like the Rose Jam bath crumble I always get, and I hope to grab some goodies in their sale too, such as the "Think Pink" Christmas gift box (rrp £52.50.... Hopefully a lot cheaper in sale).

Lastly, the things I hope to snap up in the sales, besides the "Think Pink" box there is a Topshop pink coat I have been craving with a huge price tag (rrp £89 www.topshop.com.... Hoping for £50???) and the Ciate Advent Calender (rrp £42 www.ciate.co.uk, hoping for half price on that if there are any left by the time sales start).

So just a few photos of what I wore and what I used to get ready, and then a few of the yummy food.

We also did secret Santa as part of our Christmas party and whoever picked me (i still haven't figured it out yet... I know it's supposed to be secret) must know me really well because I got a lipgloss I had been eyeing up in the cosmetics section and a giant Hello Kitty bubble bath, I was so happy.

Apologies for the poor picture quality on some photos, they were taken from my phone.
