The Glueless Scr4pbook.

Popped into one of my all time favourite stores recently, if you have been following for a while you will have seen many hauls from & Other stories, this one is no different, but anyway...

They have new Lipblams now, 3 flavours, I chose the Coconut because I am obsessed, I picked up 2 so I can have one at home and one in my bag. They also had a collaboration with Rodarte going on at the time and I am obsessed with all of their jewellery so when I saw these heart earrings I had to get them, they are plated one in silver and the other gold. I had to get a new brow powder and I really get along well with this one, mine is near an end so I grabbed a new one and last but not least they often have other random beauty brands dotted around the beauty department and I happened to spot Beauty Blenders, they had a Nude one which I hadn't seen before, I've never had a real beauty blender and the colour of this one seemed perfect for foundation. Clever idea.

I have been travelling a lot more for work over the last few months and so I do get the occasional hunt around the beauty stands in duty free, coming back from Edinburgh I managed to pick up a few items off my wish list at a fraction of the high street price.

Bobbi Brown Lip Balm SPF 15

This reminds me a lot of the Dior Creme de Rose which I never managed to get my hands on before they discontinued it (they have reintroduced it now, due to popular demand), same thick balmy consistency and a really light rose scent.

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Bisque

I never used to use a corrector but they have been everywhere over the last year or maybe more, people are really relying on them so I thought it was time to try one, this seems like a staple in many beauty gurus collection so I went for it.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

I never really fell in love with the Benefit Porefessional which is such a go-to for many, I did however enjoy the Maybelline Babyskin and a similar Lancôme version which is long discontinued, I thought this would be good to try for comparison, plus the travel size tube is so handy.

Sorry if you are getting bored of the & Other Stories obsession going on here, but I have yet another haul to share...

I picked up a few more bits from the gorgeous Punk Bouquet range, the Body Mist (£12), the Body Soufflé (£10) and another Body Wash (£5).

I also got some more jewellery bits, a gold coloured brass ring (£7) and a couple of the gorgeous heart charms (£5 each, SOLD OUT NOW) designed by Lykke Li for her collaboration with them.

I chose  nail Polish in the shade Boucle Greige (£5), but there are so many to choose from I need a few more. And as always I added a free sample to my bag, why not?

I also wanted to try some of there skincare so I got the Double Duty Eye Make Up Remover £5) and lastly I got the Creme Highlighter in the shade Sunray Pleat Pearl (£7) currently sold out.

I can't get enough of & Other Stories, have you shopped there yet?

& Other Stories beauty has always intrigued me and while I was in the London recently I thought why not just pick some up. I love the vibe in that shop, it's so relaxed and calming, it's decor is clean, white and minimalistic which is gorgeous and everything is layer out and displayed perfectly.

I only ended up with a few bits (but also ended up with a long list of 'wants') the packaging is so enticing, so minimal but somehow still so desirable.

They also stock some other brands such as The Balm, Dr Bronner and Percy & Reed which is handy, I picked up a mini Session Hold Hairspray for my handbag (50ml, £4.50). I was staring at the body are shelves for at least 10 minutes trying to find a scent that was perfect, I finally came across Punk Bouquet, I only got the hand cream tube (30ml, £4) instore but as soon as I got home I ordered the entire range, it's so gorgeous!

The jewellery too, is another area of perfection, it's so chic, really simplistic in design but still really feminine, I had my eye on this ring which is brass with Rose Quartz and fell in love with it so I had to get it (£17).

Beauty wise I picked up a tinted lip balm in the shade Frieze Pink (4g, £5) which is soft and moisturising and smells of vanilla, a Lip Colour Matte Texture in the shade Conspicuous Pink (3.5g, £12) which is a perfect nude pink shade for my skin tone and isn't drying at all and lastly I thought I'd try one of their Eyebrow Pencils in the shade Tamin Brown (£6).

Swatches left to right: Eyebrow Pencil in Tamin Brown, Lip Colour in Conspicuous Pink and Lip Balm in Frieze Pink.

I recently popped in to Kiko on Regents Street for the first time and I picked up a few little gems that I thought I'd share since I have had time to try them all out now.

I had to get one of their nail polishes after hearing Lily rave about them so many times before, I decided to go for a nude since that is the shade I reach for most, it's actually quite a peachy nude but I like it (the lighting in the store is soooooooo poor considering its a make up store and people should be able to see what shades they are buying) it is shade 507 and the price is £2.50 for 11ml which is amazing. The colour pay off is great even with just one coat, but two is perfect, even with this light shade, I hate having to paint on 4 layers just to see the colour so I'm amazed at the price for the quality, it dried fast and lasted around 4 days without chipping.

Secondly I picked up these Pencil Lip Glosses in shades 07 and 08 (£3.90 each), I was just drawn in by the beautiful nudes and cheap prices really! I loves these, they are so quick to apply and so easy to carry around, I wouldn't say they were really glossy to be honest which is fine by me, they are highly pigmented and give more of a sheen, they feel moisturising and aren't sticky at all, the only downfall is the smell which is really plasticky and kind of puts me off but I get over it.

Lastly I picked up a 'Skinny Fit Kajal' in shade 01, which is basically an extremely long nude eye pencil which was on sale by the till (rrp £4, I think I paid £2), and I actually use this for the area underneath my eyebrow for a brightening effect, it's creamy and blendable and so good for the money.

Overall I had a good Kiko experience, can you recommend anything?

I have been dying to try some of the Burberry Beauty range ever since I saw Tamira from Lipstickwithsomesunshine rave about the eyeshadows, so I recently made a trip to the Covent Garden Burberry Beauty Box and I have to say it was well worth it.

The staff were more than helpful, none of that snobby-sales assistant ish that is usually associated with high end boutiques, both girls who served me were lovely and even the security guard thanked me on my way out.

As you can see the attention to detail with the wrapping is second to none, even more effort put in that even more high end brands such as Chanel. Everything is individually boxed, tissue papered and put into a gift box and bagged up with ribbon, I'm a sucker for packaging and when expensive things are wrapped up like this I feel like I've really got my money's worth.

I chose 2 items (although I could have gone for about 20), the Sheer eyeshadow in the shade 02 Trench £22 which is a delicate nude beige with a light shimmer and comes with a little velvet pouch to protect it, the compact itself is a gunmetal silver with the Burberry check embossed on top and comes with the standard sponge applicator also embossed with 'Burberry'. The second product I chose was a Lip Mist in the shade 211 Nude Honey, which is a very sheer brown nude also in the gunmetal embossed packaging. The lids for both products are magnetic which is another cute detail.

Swatches: Top - Sheer Eyeshdow 02 Trench, Bottom - Lip Mist 211 Nude Honey.

I will do separate reveiws when I have had time to test them out properly.

The lady also have me a sample of their Velvet foundation and their newest scent Burberry Brit Rhythm (which smells amazing by the way).

They create a profile for you to keep track of all the products you have bought in which shades (much like MAC and other brands) and all receipts are emailed to you which is handy, I was also pleased to see an extra email after my visit inviting me to a complimentary 60 minute Personalised Make Up session (rrp £25) which I have booked in for later in the month so I will report back on that soon.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading xxxx

Sorry to be a bore, but it's yet another haul for you guys I was in Boots the other week and I couldn't help myself...

My shampoo/conditioner were running out so I thought I'd try another from the Garnier Ultimate Blends range, I went for the Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter as it is for dry frizzy hair and even though my hair isn't in terrible condition the ends are still a bit naff looking.

I also picked up the Garnier Fresh Radiance Boosting Scrub after Amelia mentioned it on her channel recently and my Neutrogena had run out.

Apparently I actually went a bit garnier crazy (I do love their products though) and also bought the Intensive 7 days Soothing Gel Cream in Peach which smells gorgeous!!

I wanted to pick up a new self tanner and I was actually after the one that Vivianna talks about so often because I am also pale but I couldn't find it and ended up with the Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan in Medium/Matte, it says it is water resistant and transfer resistant so I'll report back on that.

I had to repurchase the super value for money Garnier (seriously, obviously the garnier stands were looking attractive) Micellar water since I ran out a while ago and I do love it.

Unfortunately I was a bit ill so I had to grab the necessities Buttercup Cough Syrup and Covonia Lozengers.

Soap & Glory had their new crayon form concealer on offer so (since my favourite item to buy and try and obsess over is concealer) I picked that up too, I love their Kick Ass Concealer so I have high hopes.

Maxfactor had a nice display too and I'm pretty sure these nude glosses are new, I picked one up in a my lips but better soft pink shade, love the packaging, very chic and it smells nice too.

Is there anything I should be buying next time I head to Boots?

I have been coveting the Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche fragrance for ages now but I have already bought 4 perfumes this year (slightly excessive I know, but perfume is my weakness) and so I didn't know whether I could justify £55 on the Fifth one.

I was scouting around in the Chanel section on the Boots site and saw that they actually sell a Moisture Mist which is £28.50 for 100ml, so of course I caved.

I'm actually known by the Chanel representative in my local Boots now (whoops!) so when I popped in to pick it up she actually threw in some cute samples for me to try.

I purchased the Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche Moisture Mist 100ml and the samples I received were a miniature Imitable Intense Mascara in black which came in a really cute little toothpaste-like tube (like the Eyeko ones) I have only used this once so no reports yet, but keep an eye out for a review. I also received a mini Hydra Beauty Creme which I was really excited about because I have always wanted to try the Chanel Skincare and the full price version of his is a whopping £50, I have actually nearly finished this little tube so I will pop a mini review up soon.

Over all I love shopping for Chanel beauty products, the service, the samples, the products and the gorgeous gift wrapping are all what you would expect from such a high end brand.

I popped into LUSH the other week and ended up finding a few bits is never noticed before, there's always a load of gorgeous things that I want to buy when I go in but I restrained myself and just chose 2.

First was the Tisty Tosty Bath Ballistic (£3.25) "Studded with 7 real rose buds, it is scented with a captivating combination of floral oris root powder, rose and lemon" (description from the Lush website) it also has notes of geranium, jasmine and contain rose oil.

This is essentially a bath bomb, but a much more ladylike version. It smells gorgeous, just of roses like you would expect but really fresh and relaxing. I think the rosebuds are such a cute idea but I actually picked mine out before I put it in the bath because I didn't want them getting in my hair (I have kept them in a pit in my room like Pot Pourri.

Secondly I picked up this Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly (£3.25/100g) "If a bar of soap and a bottle of shower gel had a steamy affair, this would be the resulting Jelly Baby" (description from the Lush website) contains cherries, bergamot, blackcurrant, coconut and teeny tiny shimmers.

This is a soap only it's not a liquid and it's not quite a solid it's somewhere inbetween - squishy. I found it quite difficult to use at first and I read on the reviews that some people were taking the whole thing out of the pot and using that to rub all over, but personally I am quite liking ripping a little bit off and lathering it up in my hands first, it's a little bit tricky to work with but OH MY GAWD THE SMELL!!!!! Reviewers said it smells like Vimto and it really does!! But slightly more blackcurranty, like the proper cordial. Mmmm.

Is there anything else I need to try?

Last pay day I took a little trip to my nearest Space NK and proceeded to buy a few things I had been wanting to try, I'm just going to show you what I got and full reviews will come on separate posts soon.

So firstly since I'm such a concealer whore I had to pick up the super famous Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer duo, I actually used my Ncentice points for this so I only paid £21 which I was happy about. I chose the shade SC-2 because the SC-1 looked way too dark in comparison, this has two sections, the smaller side is a salmon pink toned shade which is great for counteracting dark circles and the larger section has a normal yellow toned flesh shade which is best for blemishes and redness.

The other item I had been wanting to try was the Nars Matte Multiples, I was debating over the shades because I couldn't decide wether I wanted a brown shade to use for contouring or a pink shade so that I could use it for bothe lips and face. As you can see I went for the pink choice, this is the shade Anguilla and this was £30, which I do think is a bit steep compared to their other price points for similar quantities but I do also think it will last a good while. As I mentioned these are designed for cheeks and lips so I will be testing this out on both, I'm an oily girl though so I mainly wanted this for my cheeks.

Are there any other goodies I need to look out for next time I'm in Space NK ?

As usual when The Body Shop have their amazing discount codes online I had to place an order, it was just too tempting to pass up. This time it was 40% off when you spend £5 or more, so I should have paid £52 for all of this but I got it for £34, here's what I got...
