There have been a few great magazine freebies lately, but this was definitely my favourite of them all. I have heard a lot about the L'occitane Almond Shower Oil which has been on my wanted list for a while now so when I saw this offer in InStyle last month I had to go and pick it up.

I am obsessed with the scent, I imagined it to be really heavy and over powering but it's nothing like that at all, I can't describe it but it's very subtle, sweet and fresh all at the same time.

Amande Supple Skin Oil (full price 100ml/ £34)

This is a very lightweight, almost dry oil which melts into the skin instantly and leaves it soft and scented all day, I need to get hold of the full size one soon.

The Velvet Balm (full price 200ml/ £42)

This is exactly what it says on the tin, a creamy balm texture at first which turns to velvet once it has dried in, again leaves the skin scented and moisturised all day.

My wanted list from the Almond range has now become even longer…
