So I thought I'd give you some insider information on how well my Percy & Reed hair mask worked.
Firstly, as I had been craving this product for quite some time after reading that it contained both marshmallow extract and coconut oil, I was sad to open it and find the scent the same as all their other products, although its a lovely clean fresh smell, I was hoping for a thick rich sweet smelling goo, so I was pretty disappointed.
My hair is really long, (to my butt) so I wasn't expecting miracles I knew I'd have to use a lot, but I really did have to use A LOT, where I had smoothed it in felt like I hadn't even put any on so I had to put a good thick layer, using quite a chunk of the pot in one helping. It comes with a cute little shower cap with birdies on as they recommend that you leave it in for at least 10 mins in a heated environment for best results.
I left it in for 10/15 mins, but I didn't rinse thoroughly as instructed, (my hair is very dry at the ends and needs as much moisture as possible) my hair seemed visibly softer even whilst wet.
I have used the treatment 4 times now and I think I'll get at least another 4 out of the tub, so not bad for use age after all, considering the length of my hair.
I'd say this is a lovely treat as you only use it, we'll once a week for me, but at £20 I'm sure there are other cheaper treatments which are just as good :)
Percy & Reed Totally TLC Hydrating Mask £20, Harvey Nichols, online and instore.
