Soap & Glory Brow Archery Brown and Out £10

I was never really interested in the original Soap & Glory Brow Archery because everybody was comparing it to the Anastasia Brow Wiz which I wasn't that fond of but I recently spotted is in Boots and thought it was definitely worth trying. This is an angled crayon at one end and a clear brow gel at the other end which I think is so perfect for travel, it comes in two shades Blonde Ambition and Brown and Out. This reminds me of the Sleek one, the pigment is very good but the wax is slightly hard so it works better after a few seconds when the body heat starts to soften it slightly. I chose the Brown and Out shade which is a pretty good medium brown shade, not too red at all which is usually a problem and the Blonde Ambition one I did not swatch but it looked pretty grey toned. This has a wide angled edge which is my preference and the brow gel is is strong but doesn't turn white or go crispy. I think this is a pretty good high street brow product and I'm glad they have a few good options from one brand and they realise that not everyone has the same brow needs. I'm impressed. Have you tried either of these?

I've had the same few bits in my bag for the last few months now and I think I'm finally down to the bare essentials for day to day touch ups, here's what I carry around with me on a daily basis.

- A couple of tools, a nail file, mini tweezers, some grips and a spare hair tie.

- Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, mess free application and great coverage.

- Anastasia Brow Wiz, perfect if they need a quick touch up.

- Chanel Les Beiges Powder, layers up without caking and comes with its own brush.

- Korres Jasmine Lip Butter, smells sweet, hydrating and has a soft hint of colour.

- Tom Ford Nude Vanille, a perfect nude that goes with all looks.

- NYX Butter Gloss Creme Brûlée, sweet smelling, not sticky and a nice natural shade.

- Aesop Ressurection Rinse Free Handwash, refreshing and non drying, great for on the go.

- & Other Stories Punk Bouquet Hand Cream, smells gorgeous and is intensly moisturising.

What are your handbag staples?

I recently swapped my make up bag because I thought the other one was getting a bit bulky and it was time for a change so I thought it was the perfect time to show you what I carry around with me everyday.

so I use the Whistles Medium Clutch to carry everything in as it is very slimline and compact. I always have the same tools with me, a mini pair of tweezers, a metal nail file so I can use it for both cleaning and filing my nails and a make up brush, this one being the Chanel Kabuki Brush. I carry a sample size foundation and mascara because those are the products I re-apply the least so carrying a full size is pointless. Then I have the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer because it works both under my eyes and on blemishes, Chanel Pressed Powder because it's very sheer, but mattifying and has a good sized mirror. Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Duo #2 has two shades one of which I like for cheeks and one for lips so I like to keep that handy, I also have my Jouer Bronzer just incase. Lastly I keep my favourite Nyx Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée because it goes with every possible make up look and the Anastasia Brow Wiz incase my brows go walk abouts.
